By accessing or using the Athenoir platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform.
Athenoir is an AI-curated contemporary art platform that connects artists, collectors, and galleries. The Platform operates as a technology marketplace facilitator — it is not an art dealer, gallery, auction house, or investment advisor.
You must create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
Preliminary artist profiles may be created from publicly available information. Artists may claim, edit, or request deletion of their profiles at any time. Unclaimed profiles displaying only publicly available information will be removed after 90 days if not claimed.
Athenoir facilitates transactions between buyers and sellers but is not a party to any sale. All transactions are between the buyer and the artist or gallery. Platform commissions (12–18% depending on listing tier) are disclosed before listing and at checkout.
The Platform provides technology for generating Certificates of Authenticity (CoA). The artist, not the Platform, issues and signs each CoA. The Platform makes no independent verification of authenticity claims.
Market reference data provided on the Platform (comparable sales, price ranges, market trends) is factual historical information only. It does not constitute investment advice, financial advice, or valuation services. Past performance does not guarantee future value.
Some content on the Platform may be generated or assisted by artificial intelligence. All AI-generated editorial content is reviewed by human editors before publication. AI-generated descriptions on artwork listings are clearly labeled.
Artists retain all intellectual property rights in their artworks. By listing on the Platform, artists grant Athenoir a non-exclusive license to display, reproduce, and promote their works within the Platform and its marketing channels.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Athenoir shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform or any transaction facilitated through it.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
